Arianti Sipsis, was born in Kydonies Grevena, Greece. Alongside her family, she left Greece at a young age due to the war and its chaos, eventually settling in Romania. Here, she met her husband, Costa, and had her daughter, Eleni. The three of them left Romania in 1971 to come to the States. She was a factory worker, retiring from Burry Biscuits when the company moved out of state. She was a great cook and an even better baker, her pastries were amazing. She was always shoving food down your throat.
She was a tough, old school Greek grandma. She was stubborn and strong and showed her strength the entire time she was sick. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter. After her daughter’s death she raised her granddaughter. She’s survived by her granddaughter Nicole, great granddaughter Arianna, a bunch of nieces and nephews both here and in Greece, and a sister and brother in Greece. She also had two siblings by the names of Nikki and Andoni.
