William Banks, 81, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, at Brother Bonaventure Nursing Home in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

William will be lovingly remembered for the warmth, kindness, and presence he brought into the lives of those around him. He was a cherished member of his family and community, and his life touched many people who were fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, sense of humor, generosity, faith, favorite hobbies, or other qualities will remain a lasting part of the memories shared by his loved ones.

William’s life was a gift to all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory, love, and the moments shared with him will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Private burial will take place in Rosemount Cemetery, Elizabeth, NJ.
