Vinod Berty Borrison

Vinod Berty Borrison, 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Sayreville, New Jersey, on October 22, 2026.

Born on August 29, 1957, in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Vinod was the beloved husband of Iris Borrison, née Masih. He was a devoted husband and father whose love, warmth, and presence brought joy to those around him.

Vinod worked as a supervisor of security for Securitas, where he dedicated himself to his profession. He also held a Bachelor of Arts degree, reflecting his commitment to education and personal growth.

Outside of work, Vinod found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved gardening and spending time outdoors in his backyard, where he could relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. He had a passion for singing his favorite songs, a special love for dogs, and a talent for working on projects that involved building, repairing, and fixing things. He was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.

Vinod also had a special way of bringing his family together through food. Whenever he was in the mood to cook his favorite dishes, he would use the occasion as the perfect excuse to invite his children over, creating cherished opportunities to share meals, laughter, and precious time together. These thoughtful gestures reflected his loving nature and the importance he placed on family.

Vinod leaves behind his beloved wife, Iris Borrison; his loving daughters, Rupika Borrison, Shalini Borrison, and Monisha Borrison; his cherished grandchildren, Samaira and Jayden Darji; his son-in-law, Jay Darji; his beloved sister, Neelma Gill; and his father, Lawrence Borrison. He will also be remembered fondly by extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey.

Vinod will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, love for the outdoors, joyful spirit, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever.
