Sonia Benitez

Sonia Benitez, 72, of Willingboro Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, dedication, and strength.

Born on December 6, 1953, in Aguadas, Caldas, Colombia, Sonia was the beloved daughter of Alfonso Franco and Maria Olga Aguirre. Throughout her life, she carried with her the warmth of her Colombian heritage, a strong work ethic, and a caring spirit that touched the lives of those around her.

Sonia was a devoted mother and a loving member of her family. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Claudia Hernandez, as well as by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, resilience, and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Sonia dedicated many years of her life to her work as a laborer in the manufacturing industry, including her time with Scorpio Posters in Brooklyn, New York. She was known for her commitment and perseverance.

Family and friends are welcome to gather to honor and remember Sonia’s life. Interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Park in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
