Paulo Aponte Baez, 90, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026.

Born on February 14, 1936, Paulo lived a life centered on family, love, and perseverance. He was known as a kindhearted and humble man whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him. Throughout his many years, Paulo carried himself with dignity, strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple blessings in life.

Paulo made his home in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he built lasting friendships and touched the lives of many within his community. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, wise words, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. Whether through a conversation, a helping hand, or simply his quiet presence, Paulo had a way of making people feel cared for and valued.

He was the beloved husband of Helen Parker, with whom he shared many cherished memories throughout the years and cherished father of Paulito Aponte. Their bond was one built on love, companionship, and enduring support.
