With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Orlando Danilo Silva Tapia, who departed this life on June 28, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 40.

Born on January 8, 1986, in Barranca, Lima, Peru, Orlando was the beloved son of Danilo Conrado Silva Sanchez and Guiliana Monica Tapia Olivares. Though he later made his home in New Jersey, he remained deeply connected to his Peruvian roots, carrying with him the values of hard work, resilience, and devotion to family.

Orlando dedicated his career to the aviation industry, working as an Aviation Mechanic with STS Line Maintenance. He took great pride in his profession, applying his skills with precision, dedication, and a strong work ethic. His commitment to excellence earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Above all, Orlando cherished his family. He is lovingly survived by his beloved son & brother, Danilo Dash Silva, who was the greatest joy of his life. He is also remembered with love by his parents, his brother Stephen Silva, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, generosity, and enduring spirit.

Although his life was far too short, Orlando will be remembered for his determination, his caring heart, and the lasting impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort, strength, and love to all who mourn his passing.

Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.

Following funeral services, Orlando will be lovingly returned to his hometown of Barranca, Lima, Peru, where he will be entrusted to the care of Funeraria Santa María. He will be laid to rest at Cementerio Los Santos in Barranca, surrounded by the land and community that shaped his earliest years.
