Mildred Daniel entered this life on December 25, 1930,
to parents Eddie and Donisha Osborne Daniel in Monroe, Louisiana. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age in the St. Rest Community in Louisiana. Mildred started her early education in the same community.
Mildred met, and soon after, married Robert (Bob) Fleming on January 19, 1951,in the state of Illinois. Robert was in the Navy, it allowed he, and his wife to travel to many states. He proceeded Mildred in death.
Mildred Fleming had numerous occupations, however, becoming a licensed beautician was her passion. Another passion was sewing.
Mildred became a member of Union Baptist Church in August,1951 under the leadership of Reverend Lewis. Her Pastor now, the Reverend Buffalo, whom she loved very much, and a!ways spoke so highly of him to family and friends. Mildred Fleming also enjoyed being a member of "Married Women Fellowship" of the same church. Mildred's favorite Scripture was taken from Luke:13. (Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.), her favorite hymn was "Come by Here."
Mildred is survived by four sisters, Barbara Johnson (Robert) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dorothy Leonard (Thomas, deceased) of Atlanta, GA,
Carol Daniel Bradley of Battlecreek, Michigan, and Freda Clark (Dennis, deceased) of Berkeley, California; one brother, Hopeful Thomas( Rosemary)
Of San Antonio, Texas, thirteen nieces,eight nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosa and Yolanda was special friends to the end.
