Michelle Rhodora Mayers, 67, of Linden, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, March 16th from 10-1pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ. 

Born on July 27, 1958, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Michelle was the beloved daughter of Willie Polk and Elizabeth Drayton Polk. She lived a life centered on family, love, and dedication to those she held dear.

Michelle was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest pride and joy were her children. She leaves behind her cherished children: Shronda Umoh, Cassandra Ouedraogo, Gregory Mayers, Ashley Mayers, and Linwood Spikes. Her nurturing spirit, strength, and unwavering support will forever remain in their hearts.

Michelle will be remembered for her warm personality, caring nature, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. She touched many lives with her kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
