Marie Claire Martinez, 85, of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by love and care.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the beloved daughter of Noisilia Mathurin. Marie Claire will be remembered as a kind and gracious woman whose warmth touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

She was the dear sister-in-law of Lemene Vilfort and will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends. Her gentle spirit, strength, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her life. Family and friends will forever cherish the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Interment will take place in Silver Mount Cemetery, Staten Island this upcoming week.
