Maria Asuncion Quinatoa Pullutasi, 75, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Tungurahua, Ambato, Quisapincha, Ecuador, Maria carried with her the deep-rooted traditions, strength, and warmth of her homeland. She built a life of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she always put her loved ones first, instilling values of kindness, perseverance, and faith in those around her.
Maria was the devoted wife of Segundo Amable Caguana Toala, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and companionship. She was a cherished mother, embracing the joys and challenges of parenthood with an open heart and boundless care. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the comforting aromas of her home-cooked meals, bringing family and friends together in a space of love.
Her presence was a source of strength and guidance, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Maria, may you rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love you so generously gave in life.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, March 20th from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 21st, 2pm in the Immaculate Conception Church, Elizabeth.
Repatriation to Quito, Ecuador is under the direct care and supervision of Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home.
