Marco Paul Tenecela Celdo, 31, of Newark, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026, at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, September 1st from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.
Following funeral services in New Jersey, Marco will be returned to Ecuador, where he will be laid to rest at Cementerio San Miguel de Cojitambo in Azogues, Cañar, Ecuador.
Marco was born on June 4, 1995, in Canar, Azogues, Cojitambo, Ecuador. He was the beloved son of Miguel Reinaldo Tenecela Yascaribay and Rosa Matilde Celdo Tenezaca.
Marco was a hardworking and dedicated man who worked as a chef in the restaurant industry. He was known for his strong work ethic and devotion to his family and those around him.
He is survived by his loving family, including his parents, Miguel Reinaldo Tenecela Yascaribay and Rosa Matilde Celdo Tenezaca, and his sibling, Wilson Tenecela Celdo, along with other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Marco will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
