Luis Rafael Esquivel Miranda, 51, of Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on his final day, surrounded by the love and memories of those who knew and cherished him.

A private funeral service will be held in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 East Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. 

Following the service, Luis will be laid to rest at Cementerio Municipal De Naranjo in Alajuela, Costa Rica, where he will be returned to his homeland.

Born on November 2, 1974, in Alajuela, Costa Rica, Luis was the beloved son of Rafael Esquivel Ulate and Maria Isabel Miranda Ramirez. He carried with him the values of family, hard work, and dedication throughout his life.

Luis was a hardworking and dedicated man who worked as a landscaping worker, taking pride in his craft and the work he provided. He was known for his commitment, perseverance, and willingness to help others.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Andrea Daniela Esquivel Rojas, who held a special place in his heart. His memory will forever remain with his family, friends, and all those who had the blessing of knowing him.

Luis’s life was a reflection of strength, kindness, and devotion. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
