Lucia Portilla Sola, 45, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, was born on December 13, 1980, and passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, surrounded by care and compassion.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, February 20th, 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 East Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07021.

Lucia was a devoted and loving mother, whose greatest pride and joy was her daughter, Heidy Portillo. Her life was defined by her deep love for her family, her quiet strength, and her generous heart. She gave selflessly of herself, always placing the needs of those she loved above her own.

Those who knew Lucia will remember her warmth, her resilience, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. She had a gentle spirit and a steadfast presence that brought comfort and reassurance to her family and friends.
