With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Lucia De La O Rivera, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 7, 2026, while under the compassionate care of Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care at her home in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, July 9th from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.

Funeral service will commence at 9:00am on Friday, July 10th in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden,NJ.

Lucia was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished member of her family. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love created a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strength, generosity, and the compassion she showed to everyone around her. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family takes comfort in the countless memories they shared and in knowing that her love will continue to guide them.

Lucia will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
