Jonathan D. Rios, 34, of Linden, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026.

Born on November 8, 1991, in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia, Jonathan was the beloved son of Luis F. Rios Velásquez and Amparo López Gutiérrez. He carried with him a deep connection to his Colombian roots while building his life in the United States.

Jonathan was a college student whose quiet determination and commitment to his education reflected his hopes for the future. He was known for his gentle nature, thoughtful spirit, and the kindness he extended to those around him. His presence brought comfort to many, and he will be remembered for his humility and the sincerity with which he lived his life.

He is survived by his loving parents, who cherished him deeply, along with extended family and friends who will hold his memory close in their hearts.

Jonathan’s life, though far too brief, leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and quiet strength. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
