With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jairo Valentín Vega Guzmán, age 27, of Newark, New Jersey, who tragically left us on July 2, 2025.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, Jairo was the beloved and devoted son of Martín L. Vega Barragán and Elvia N. Guzmán Arguello. From a young age, Jairo carried with him a vibrant spirit and an enduring sense of compassion that touched everyone he met. His presence was a source of joy, strength, and inspiration to his family and friends.

Jairo was known for his warm heart, quick wit, and deep loyalty to those he loved. Whether through his words, his actions, or simply his smile, he brought comfort and laughter to those around him. He was proud of his roots and his heritage, and he carried the values instilled in him by his parents with grace and humility.
