Jacobo Mejía, de 65 años, de Roselle, NJ, falleció pacíficamente el 6 de marzo de 2025, rodeado por su amorosa familia. Nació en Estanzuelas, Usulután, El Salvador, el 23 de enero de 1960, y fue el querido hijo de Ramón y Simona Mejía.

Jacobo fue un hombre de familia dedicado, conocido por su amabilidad, inquebrantable ética de trabajo y generoso corazón. Construyó una vida llena de amor y alegría, siempre poniendo a su familia en primer lugar y brindando una mano amiga a quien lo necesitara. Su cálido espíritu y sabiduría serán profundamente extrañados por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Le sobreviven sus seres queridos, quienes llevarán su recuerdo en sus corazones para siempre. Aunque ya no esté físicamente presente, su legado de amor y resiliencia perdurará. Su familia agradece todo el amor y apoyo en este difícil momento.

Jacobo Mejia, 65, of Roselle, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Estanzuelas, Usulután, El Salvador, on January 23, 1960, he was the beloved son of Ramón and Simona Mejia.

Jacobo was a devoted family man, known for his kindness, unwavering work ethic, and generous heart. He built a life filled with love and laughter, always putting his family first and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. His warm spirit and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his cherished family, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Though he may no longer be physically present, his legacy of love and resilience will live on. His family appreciates all the love and support during this difficult time.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday, March 12th from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.
