Hugo Kingalahua, 63, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, March 17th from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201.

Private cremation will follow in Rosehill Cemetery & Crematory, Linden, NJ.

Born on October 16, 1962, in Quito, Ecuador, Hugo was the beloved son of Jaime and Ana Kingalahua. He carried with him a deep connection to his roots and a quiet strength that was felt by all who knew him.

Hugo was a loving and devoted brother to Patricia Kingalahua, Pilar Kingalahua, Pablo Kingalahua and Edwin Kingalahua. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the meaningful relationships he shared with his family and friends.

Hugo’s presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

La cremación privada se llevará a cabo posteriormente en Rosehill Cemetery & Crematory, Linden, NJ.

Nacido el 16 de octubre de 1962 en Quito, Ecuador, Hugo fue el amado hijo de Jaime y Ana Kingalahua. Siempre llevó consigo una profunda conexión con sus raíces y una fortaleza tranquila que se hacía sentir en todos los que lo conocían.

Hugo fue un hermano amoroso y dedicado de Patricia Kingalahua, Pilar Kingalahua, Pablo Kingalahua y Edwin Kingalahua. Será recordado por su buen corazón, su espíritu gentil y las significativas relaciones que compartió con su familia y amigos.

La presencia de Hugo brindaba consuelo y calidez a quienes lo rodeaban, y su memoria será atesorada por siempre por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
