Fidel Uranga

Fidel Uranga, 65, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on October 20, 2026, at Trinitas Hospital – Williamson Street Campus in Elizabeth.

Born on February 9, 1961, in Saron, Cantabria, Spain, Fidel carried the heritage and traditions of his homeland with him throughout his life. He later made his home in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he lived and built a life in the community.

Fidel worked as a hairdresser in the cosmetology industry, a profession that allowed him to share his skills and talents with others. His life reflected the journey of someone whose roots began in Spain and whose story continued in the United States.

Fidel was the beloved son of Jose Uranda Gutierrez and Maria Rosa Sainz Diaz. He will be remembered by his family, including his sister, Rosa Maria Uranga Sainz, and all those who knew him and shared in his life's journey.

Cremation will take place at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey.
