Felipe Torres Roverty, 66, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey.

Felipe was born on May 15, 1959, in Maricao, Puerto Rico, to Felipe Torres and Doris Roverty. From an early age, he learned the values of hard work, responsibility, and dedication—principles that guided him throughout his life.

A true provider and tireless handworker, Felipe devoted his life to ensuring the well-being of his family. He took great pride in his work and in the role he played as the foundation of his household. Above all else, he was a beautiful and loving father, not only to his own children but to many whose lives he touched with his guidance, generosity, and steady presence.

Felipe was the devoted father of six children and the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, with one more soon to arrive. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. His love for his family was boundless, and his legacy lives on through the many generations who were blessed to call him father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Felipe will be remembered for his strength, humility, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, December 23rd from 5-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201. Private Cremation will follow.

Felipe nació el 15 de mayo de 1959 en Maricao, Puerto Rico, hijo de Felipe Torres y Doris Roverty. Desde temprana edad aprendió los valores del trabajo duro, la responsabilidad y la dedicación, principios que lo guiaron a lo largo de su vida.

Un verdadero proveedor y trabajador incansable, Felipe dedicó su vida a velar por el bienestar de su familia. Sentía un gran orgullo por su trabajo y por el papel que desempeñó como pilar de su hogar. Por encima de todo, fue un padre hermoso y amoroso, no solo para sus propios hijos, sino también para muchos cuyas vidas tocó con su guía, generosidad y presencia constante.

Felipe fue el devoto padre de seis hijos y el orgulloso abuelo de ocho nietos, con uno más en camino. También fue un querido bisabuelo de seis bisnietos. Su amor por su familia no tuvo límites, y su legado vive a través de las muchas generaciones que tuvieron la bendición de llamarlo padre, abuelo y bisabuelo.

Felipe será recordado por su fortaleza, humildad y compromiso inquebrantable con aquellos a quienes amó. Su recuerdo permanecerá por siempre en los corazones de su familia y de todos los que lo conocieron.

Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a visitar el martes 23 de diciembre de 5:00 a 8:00 p. m. en Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. La cremación será privada.
