Cecilia Aponte, 78, of Woodbridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born on May 2, 1947, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where she began a life defined by compassion, strength, and deep devotion to family.

Cecilia was the beloved daughter of Cesar Velez and Piedad Castro and a devoted and loving mother to her cherished son, Anthony Velez, who was the pride and joy of her life. Her role as a mother was one she embraced with unconditional love, patience, and selflessness, always placing her family’s needs before her own.

Known for her gentle nature and warm heart, Cecilia had a quiet strength that comforted everyone around her. She offered kindness freely and was a source of guidance, love, and support to those blessed to know her. Her presence brought peace, and her care left a lasting impression on the lives she touched.

Cecilia Aponte will be remembered for her grace, nurturing spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and in the legacy of love she leaves behind.
