Carlos S. Merino

Carlos Steven Merino, 35, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1989, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Alberto Merino and Eva Rivera Hernandez.

Carlos grew up surrounded by family and love. He shared a special bond with his brother, Julio Merino, and carried with him the values of kindness, family, and perseverance. Those who knew Carlos will remember his warm heart, his loyalty to his loved ones, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. He leaves behind cherished memories with his parents, Alberto and Eva, his brother Julio, and extended family and friends who will hold him forever in their hearts. Carlos’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and moments that will be remembered always. His family and friends will honor his memory and continue to carry his spirit with them.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, October 2nd, from 4-9pm in Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, 914 E. Saint George Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036.

Funeral service will be on Friday, October 3rd, at 9-10am in Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, Linden.

Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, 10:30am.
