 Artis Craig, 78, of Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Most cherished of all was his role as a devoted father to his daughter, Lisa Craig, who remained the light of his life. Artis was her rock—supportive in every dream she pursued, a mentor in her times of doubt, and a constant source of pride. Lisa fondly recalls his patient guidance and gentle wisdom, qualities that shaped her into the person she is today.

A man of strong faith, Artis was an active member of his church, where he contributed his time to charity efforts and community outreach. He believed in giving back and inspired others to do the same.

Artis will be remembered as a loving father, dedicated community member, and skilled tradesman. His legacy of kindness, strong moral character, and commitment to service will continue to live on in the hearts and lives of all who had the privilege to know him.
