Ana Julia Riveiro

Ana Julia Riveiro, 87, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love and care of those who cherished her.

Born on March 10, 1939, in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, Ana Julia was the beloved daughter of the late Ramon Mercado and Julia Mercado Colon. She was a woman of strength, grace, and devotion who carried her family values and traditions throughout her life.

Ana Julia was the loving wife of the late Manuel Avelino Riveiro Casias. Together, they shared a life filled with memories, love, and dedication to their family. She was a devoted mother and a source of comfort, wisdom, and support to those around her.

Throughout her professional life, Ana Julia worked as an Account Manager in the banking industry, dedicating many years of service and commitment. She was employed by the Royal Bank of Canada in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she was respected for her professionalism and dedication.

Ana Julia’s greatest joy was her family. She will be deeply missed by her beloved son, Manuel Riveiro, as well as by all relatives, friends, and those whose lives were touched by her kindness and loving spirit.

Ana Julia’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue through her family for generations to come.

Funeral arrangements and repatriation services are entrusted to Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201. Interment will follow at Cementerio Los Cipreses, Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
